OxySites Search provides AJAX powered search. By default, the element lets users search inside all published posts and pages. The search parameters can be adjusted so that search results can be narrowed down to specific post types or individual posts.
To add a search element from the elements panel go to OxySites ➟ Search.
To make it easy when it comes to styling the element, there are 4 preview options to choose from.
Hides the results container and only shows the search input field.
Shows the results container with the loader item.
Shows the results container with the string indicating that no results could be found.
Show a preview of search results within the results container.
The default query will show results for all published posts and pages. Choose the custom query type to have the element narrow down by post type(s) or post IDs.
Select all the post types which should be included in the search.
Comma-separated list of specified post IDs used if Post Type(s) is empty.
